We think we see the world as it is. But in fact, we see the world as we are. And a major part of who we are is our culture. Our culture tells us what is acceptable and what is taboo; it shapes our values, beliefs & social norms.

In this fascinating discussion, Nayiri Karjian tells her journey of being an exiled Armenian who grew up in Aleppo, Syria, went to college in Beruit, Lebanon, and then came to the U.S. to study and pastor. She offers great insight into how people see the world so differently and how culture affects current world political & religious trends.
